Car Rental Conditions in Phuket

Car Rental Conditions
We aim to make the car rental process clear and transparent. Before the vehicle is handed over, we prepare:
the Rental Agreement;
the Vehicle Handover and Return Report.
The report records the vehicle’s condition, fuel level, supplied equipment and existing damage. This protects the interests of both parties.
Phuket Airport Pickup and Return
Vehicle delivery and return at Phuket International Airport are free of charge during business hours:
daily from 08:30 to 19:30.
Pickup or return outside business hours is subject to an additional charge starting from: 500 THB.
The exact time and cost of an after-hours service must be agreed with the manager in advance.
Mileage and Permitted Travel Area
The rental includes unlimited mileage within the permitted travel area:
Phuket;
Phang Nga;
Krabi.
If you plan to travel to another province in Thailand, the route must be approved by the Thailand Rent-a-Car manager in advance.
Driving outside the permitted area without prior approval is not allowed.
Fuel
The vehicle is provided clean and with a full tank of fuel.
It must be returned with the same fuel level.
If the tank is not full when the vehicle is returned, the missing fuel will be charged at: 50 THB per litre.
To avoid an additional charge, we recommend refuelling shortly before returning the vehicle.
Vehicle Cleanliness
The vehicle is provided in a clean condition and should be returned without excessive dirt.
If additional cleaning is required upon return, the cleaning charge is: 500 THB.
You may add a final cleaning service to the Rental Agreement in advance at a reduced price of: 399 THB.
Additional cleaning is required if:
sand is left inside the vehicle;
rubbish or plastic bottles are left in the cabin;
the interior is excessively dirty;
the exterior is so dirty that it prevents a proper return inspection.
If the final cleaning service is included in the Rental Agreement, you will not need to visit a car wash before returning the vehicle.
Required Documents
The following documents are required to rent a vehicle:
a valid international passport;
a valid national driving licence;
an International Driving Permit, IDP.
All documents must remain valid for the entire rental period.
Important Information
The conditions of each rental—including the selected vehicle, dates, pickup location, deposit, insurance coverage and additional services—are specified in the Rental Agreement and Vehicle Handover and Return Report.
