General Rental Terms
Autopilot Rent-a-Car Co. Ltd. provides short-term and long-term vehicle rental services within the Kingdom of Thailand.
To enter into a rental agreement, the Renter must provide:
a valid passport;
a valid national driver’s license;
a valid International Driving Permit (IDP);
a valid phone number and email address.
The Renter confirms that he or she:
meets the minimum legal age required to operate a vehicle in Thailand;
holds a valid driver’s license for the rented vehicle category;
provides accurate and complete personal information.
Vehicles are provided for personal use only.
The following activities are prohibited:
allowing unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle;
participating in racing or competitive events;
transporting prohibited goods or engaging in unlawful activities;
driving off paved public roads;
using the vehicle for driving instruction;
operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances;
taking the vehicle outside the Kingdom of Thailand without prior written approval.
The Renter must comply with all applicable traffic laws and immediately notify the Company of any accident, damage, traffic violation, claim, or incident involving the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, the Renter must:
ensure safety of all involved persons;
immediately contact the Company;
follow the Company’s instructions;
provide all documents and information required for insurance handling.
Failure to follow the accident reporting procedure may result in limitation or loss of insurance coverage.
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time and location.
The Company reserves the right to refuse rental services if required documents are not provided, false information is supplied, or the Company reasonably believes that the rental may violate applicable laws or contractual obligations.
